5. Explain the structure of the Legislative Assembly.

- Exceptions exist for smaller states; for example, the Sikkim Legislative Assembly has only 32 members.
- The Karnataka Legislative Assembly currently consists of 224 members who are directly elected by the citizens.
6. Which fields are represented by the members of the Legislative Council?

- Members of the Legislative Council (Vidhana Parishad) represent five distinct areas.
